Pedal to the medal...

Over the weekend we had some of our continued supporters cycle in the Pedal for Scotland event which took place on Sunday 8th September.

"Pedal for Scotland is a non-profit event that provides safe and engaging routes suitable for all ages and abilities while supporting charities by providing a platform for successful fundraising.

Pedal for Scotland is committed to getting more people cycling more often. We also aim to expand awareness of and support for investment in cycling by maintaining Scotland's largest mass participation cycle event that brings health, economic, environmental and social benefits to participants and communities."

On Sunday we had Team Zara cycling for Calum's Cabin and we thank you all so much for completing the many miles that you had to do.

Here above is our wonderful cyclists before they headed off on there journey and here they are finished with there medals!!

WELL DONE!!

Please remember that September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and a way to support this month is to wear something GOLD!

"Consider a tree for a moment. As beautiful as trees are to look at, we don't see what goes on underground - as they grow roots. Trees must develop deep roots in order to grow strong and produce their beauty. But we don't see the roots. We just see and enjoy the beauty. In much the same way, what goes on inside of us is like the roots of a tree."
