BaleArt 2019

What you can do with some hay bales and your imagination...

Bale Art is something that is organised by the SAYFC (The Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs), where all young farmers clubs around Scotland enter and take part by building something out of either round bales or square and sometimes both. Every year YF Clubs have got to come up with a different idea, then they must have it up for a week and are judged.

Few years ago Lorraine Kelly judged it.

Our local Bute Junior Agricultural Club (Young Farmers), done a great bale art design of our Calmac Ferry and a lorry driving onto the boat in 2017.

This year the clubs must choose a charity relating to cancer and advertise the charity to explain what they do. Bute JAC have chosen Calum's Cabin as there chosen charity and we couldn’t be more thankful and proud of the great work they have put into creating these special designs.

Here is what they came up with...

The members of Bute JAC said that they wanted to create something for the kids and is this not just perfect!

Two GIANT Teddy Bears, did you also notice our wee Calum's Cabin Girl Bear has appeared with her big bear friends!

Well Done to all members of Bute Junior Agricultural Club and well done on getting 3rd place in the Clyde & Central District!!

Good Luck in the next stage, National!!
